If there was a way for you to become an online entrepreneur, would you give it a shot? Do you have what it takes to enjoy the benefits of online entrepreneurship?
As usual, let me start with a short definition.
What is an entrepreneur in the first place?
"According to Google an entrepreneur is a person who organizes and operates a business or businesses, taking on financial risk to do so."
Great examples are Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and so on.
Almost every „big shot” who started from the bottom and climbed to the top is an entrepreneur.
But don’t worry. You don’t have to be like Steve Jobs or Mark Zuckerberg to succeed online.
All you need are certain characteristics to make sure you build a profitable online business.
Without motivation you won’t get too far. There’s so much research, learning and work involved - especially in the beginning - that if you’re not motivated enough, you can easily burn out and give up.
So make sure you know why you’re doing it. Is it the extra income? Is it financial freedom? Is it survival?
Whatever it is, make sure it gives you enough motivation.
You have to be very confident in yourself, too. There will be so many people thinking you’re insane for trying to make money online…
If you want to be able to survive their negative vibes, make sure you have enough self-confidence to start.
is probably the most important element of success. Not only online, but in
every other aspect of life. Listen to Calvin Coolidge...

You also have to be willing to make long-term investments.
According to the above definition, an entrepreneur takes on financial risks. Thanks to the nature of the internet, you don’t have to make huge sacrifices.
However, you should understand that success will not come immediately. Acknowledge that your investment will pay off only later.
Those are the most important qualities in an online entrepreneur, in my opinion at least. Without them, you’ll find it hard to build a profitable business online.
So if you can’t accept these conditions, if you need money right away I suggest you do something else.
However, I’d like to encourage you NOT to give up!
I firmly believe that everyone has an online entrepreneur in them. And the benefits are so great!
Imagine what your life will look like 2 or 3 years from now if you get started today.
Or if you're doubting whether you can do it or this whole thing is just a scam, check out these very motivating online business case studies for some proof.
Let’s use my father and I in an example.
Today, he’s a 54 year old program developer. He’s been working in the field for over 30 years.
I, on the other hand, am an online business owner.
Just for fun, let’s see what would happen if we got started at the same time. He, as a program developer at his 9 to 5 job, and I, as an online entrepreneur, building my money-making website.
Dad: Initially, I’m sure he would be making a lot more than I. He’d receive
his salary at the end of every month for working 8 hours a day, 5 days a
Steve: Even if I worked 14 hours a day, 7 days a week in the first few months, he’d still be head and shoulders above me.
D: Later, he’d probably get a promotion and a salary raise. Of course, it
would require him to work more and have bigger responsibility.
S: In the meantime, my online business would slowly start taking off. But I still wouldn’t be making as much as his salary, even if I continued working 14 hours a day, 7 days a week.
1 or 2 years later, however, the tables would be turned.
D: He’d probably get another promotion (my father is a very hard working person). Although this would provide him with a very high income, he’d have to spend 12 hours in the office, probably even on Saturdays.
S: On the other hand, I’d finally start seeing some significant results. My income would be on the rise and I’d be making more money every month. At the same time, I could spend less and less time working. I could probably reduce my working to 5 or 6 hours a day, 3 or 4 days a week. And I’d still be OK.
D: Finally, my dad would become really stressed out. He’d get tired of
working so much. However, he’d be afraid of his employer firing him, so
he couldn't stop working so hard. He’d be at the mercy of a single
S: By now my online entrepreneur activates would have certainly paid off. I’d be making a lot of money, probably a lot more than my dad’s income. At the same time I’d be spending less and less time on my automated online businesses.
Also, thanks to passive income, I’d be able to invest in other ventures as well and diversify my income portfolio. My future wouldn’t depend on any single person or income source.
Contrary to my dad, I’d be well on my way towards financial independence and freedom!
I hope I’ve given you a great example. Now you should be able to decide which road you want to take.
Also, make this your mantra. This phrase kept me going in the darkest days as well...
“Becoming an entrepreneur means working a few years of your life like others won’t, so that you can live the rest of your life like others can’t.”
